Documents needed for the process:
PASSPORT
Because of some countries allow children to be under the parent's passport, so for applying paperwork in Indonesia, it is advisable to have separate passport for every family members. To apply Visa, your passport must be valid for the minimum 6 months, if less than 6 months, it is advisable to renew your passport before begin the visa application process.
LETTER of SPONSORSHIPs
This letter issued by the sponsoring company for you to be able working in Indonesia. This letter is a MUST for the work permit be processed.
RPTKA (Placement Plan for Expatriate)
A company must submit manpower plan to Ministry of Labour (Depnakertrans) by detailing the annual foreign labor needs. This requirement mainly due to the government has a strict regulation on what foreign expertise is required for the development of the country.
Foreigners can only get a limited stay visa or permit and KITAS card after they got a TA01 recommendation (from the Ministry of Labour (Depnakertrans) for a domestic company; or from Investment Board Department for foreign investment company).
A TA-01 is based on the approval fo Placement Plan of Expatriate (RPTKA).
Work permit for senior positions (eg. Directors) in Foreign Investment Company valid only for 3 (Three) years, but renewable. This senior position only applies for Foreign Investment Company, local company can not have expatriate fill in the senior position.
